Anywhere in the west actually worth the trip?

Raffles Marina Lighthouse is worth it and it is properly west — Tuas Link then about fifteen minutes on foot. Little white lighthouse with the Second Link stretching out behind it. Go for sunset and stay for blue hour when the bridge lamps come on, otherwise you have made the trip for half the shot. Jurong Lake twin pagodas is closer to you and also genuinely good, shot from the south bank across the water.

Second the lighthouse but check marina access before you go. It is a private marina and the walkway is not always open to non-members.
