About these starter threads

Short version: the threads that were here before you arrived were written by us, and they now say so. When BestLight opened there was nobody to talk to yet, so we wrote about twenty threads in-house to give the boards a shape — what to ask in Gear, what belongs in Locations, how much detail is useful in Techniques. For a while those posts carried invented names, which made a handful of staff notes look like a busy community. That was wrong, and it has been undone: every one of them is now posted by @bestlight, and the likes and ratings those accounts had given each other are gone. The posts themselves stay, because the answers in them are real — access rules, timings and access notes we checked. Treat them as house notes, not as neighbours telling you what they found. Everything from here is yours. If a thread has a name on it that is not @bestlight, a person wrote it.
